Richard X. Heyman
Teams Up With The Legendary Peter Noone For a Delicious Slice of
Perfect Pop!
The song is Mr. Heyman's composition,
entitled "Hoosier," and wait 'til you hear the exquisite
lead vocal by Mr. Noone!
For the one or two who don't know,
Peter Noone is the golden-throated singer who was the "Herman"
of Herman's Hermits, one of the most popular and biggest selling
groups of the British Invasion of the mid 60's. They even outsold
the Beatles in 1965, and Peter Noone was named Cashbox Magazine's
Top Entertainer for two years in a row. Herman's Hermits racked
up sales of an amazing 53 million records, with twenty-two Top 20
hits.
Richard X. Heyman is the extraordinarily
gifted pop savant who has been releasing scores of critically acclaimed
pop gems since the late 80's. Rolling Stone Magazine has described
him as "an undiscovered treasure" and Goldmine proclaims
that he is "a rock'n'roll savior, one who's carefully absorbed
the influences of many a forebear and crafted a sound so affecting
and engaging it ought to be required listening for radio programmers
everywhere."
"Hoosier" is one of 7 tracks
on an EP of rarities, entitled "Heyman, Hoosier & Herman,"
available only through this website or Peter Noone's website at
http://peternoone.com.
The other six songs on the EP are unreleased tracks from RXH's last
album, the critically lauded "Cornerstone," chosen as
"Best of the Month" by Stereo Review and described by
that publication as "a perfect little pearl of a record."
