An Embarrassment of Rich's
When finalizing the choices of which songs go on an album, the criteria is often about balance and variety. For example, on "Incognito," I had a 2/4 rocker with "Chalk It Up," so I left off "No One Left To Blame" because it was similar in groove. I liked the track just as much, but I had to pick one. I don't regard these songs any less than the ones on the finished CD. They're fully realized and mixed, and Nancy and I, as well as Tony Lewis, gave them our full treatment. To me, these seven tracks are like an added EP (extended play). I'm torn between calling it "An Embarrassment of Rich's" or perhaps "Sunny Bonus." Well, either way, hope you enjoy these tunes.
